A Shot in the Dark

Updated: Apr 26, 2018

26/4/2018 - "A Shot in the Dark" is the first ever roasters competition to be held in South Africa. We are the green bean sponsor for the competition, and have selected an exceptional direct trade coffee from Gold Mountain Coffee Growers from Nicaragua. For this blog, we are going to follow the beans as they travel from Nicaragua to South Africa, get distributed to the roasters, the experiences each roaster has with the coffee all the way through to the final decision to be judged during Creative Coffee Week in Durban 26-29 July 2018. It is going to be a fun and challenging competition, good to luck to the lucky 10 roasters competing this inaugural year....
